Tangshan Research Institute for Cooperation Talks

On the morning of March 8, Cui Fan, Secretary General of the Sino-Russian Education and Technology Development Foundation, led a delegation to Tangshan Research Institute for a visit. They held discussions on talent cultivation, scientific research, and other areas, reaching an intention for cooperation. Wang Dayong, Director of Tangshan Research Institute, Tan Jing, Consultant of the Teaching and Training Department, and Zhang Zhe, Deputy Director, attended the meeting.

During the discussion, Zhang Zhe first introduced the Institute’s construction and operational status, the main work of the Teaching and Training Department, and Sinoforeign cooperative projects at the Institute. Cui Fan then provided a detailed introduction to the history and current situation of the Sino-Russian Education and Technology Development Foundation, as well as several cooperative projects between Chinese and Russian universities organized by the Foundation. He noted that with increasing Sino-Russian trade exchanges and collaboration in science, technology, and education, there is a growing demand for Russian-speaking talents and youth exchanges. He expressed that the Foundation and Tangshan Research Institute have high compatibility in joint talent training, customized academic programs, and collaborative scientific research, and hoped that both sides could further communicate to implement projects and deepen cooperation.

Wang Dayong stated that the Foundation has rich experience in educational and technological exchanges, and that there is a solid cooperation foundation and broad space for collaboration. By integrating the advantages and resources of both parties, he hoped to explore common ground in Russian language certification, Sino-Russian joint training, and scientific research, and implement cooperative projects as soon as possible.

Cui Fan and his delegation also visited the battery testing laboratory and inspected the Institute’s campus infrastructure.
