Tangshan Research Institute Trade Union Organizes Faculty and Staff Tree Planting Activity

With the arrival of spring, it is the perfect time to plant trees and add greenery. On the morning of March 10, to encourage faculty and staff to actively participate in ecological civilization practices and enrich their lives, the Tangshan Research Institute Trade Union carried out the Arbor Day activity themed “Add a Touch of Green, Breathe Together in the Forest.” Institute leaders and all faculty and staff participated in the event.

At the beginning of the activity, each department received a sapling to plant and care for regularly after planting. Everyone was enthusiastic and energetic. Some held the saplings, some packed the soil, and some watered the trees. Each task was coordinated smoothly, showing teamwork, perseverance, and dedication. Through everyone’s joint efforts, the saplings were neatly planted on the north plaza of the faculty apartments, successfully completing the tree-planting task and contributing to the construction of a green campus.

Although their shoes and clothes were covered in soil, participants remained enthusiastic. Everyone worked together, shoveling and planting, with laughter and joy filling the plaza, demonstrating the vitality of the Institute’s faculty and staff and reinforcing their ecological awareness of “planting, loving, and protecting green.” Participants expressed that they would take this opportunity to start from themselves, integrating ecological and green concepts into work and life, and approaching their duties with greater enthusiasm and dedication.
