The School of Languages and Communication Studies has diligently implemented all epidemic prevention and control requirements set by the Ministry of Education and the university. By mobilizing multiple educational resources, it focuses on students’ circumstances from multiple perspectives and across all dimensions, providing effective support for their academic, research, career, and psychological needs during this special period. Mobilize academic supervisors and class advisors to assist with information dissemination and data collection. While conveying university requirements and collecting data through class channels, academic supervisors and class advisors are required to work in parallelstaying informed about the university’s and school’s directives, educating students, and urging them to truthfully report their status to contribute to epidemic prevention and control. Multiple educational forces participate jointly and share concern for students’ situations. The school promptly communicates the latest university prevention and control requirements, as well as students’ locations and health conditions, to academic supervisors and class advisors. All educational forces are expected to pay attention to students from different perspectives and maintain timely communication regarding students requiring special attention. Understanding Student Challenges and Responding to Concerns Through Multiple Channels. Questionnaires, class units, and party branches serve as key channels for understanding the psychological state and practical difficultiessuch as those related to academics and employmentfaced by students. Identified issues are categorized and compiled, while relevant university policies and measures are integrated and disseminated to all students, ensuring tangible solutions to difficulties encountered during this special period. Comprehensively Guiding Students’ Engagement with Online Public Discourse. In response to diverse viewpoints emerging online, academic supervisors and class advisors are tasked with providing proactive guidance through class meetings and supervisor regular sessions, helping students cultivate rational thinking and positive values. The school’s postgraduate working group has also launched targeted content recommendations to assist students in approaching issues with objectivity and balance.
