On the afternoon of October 31st, the teachers of Communist Party of China from the School of Language and Communication Studies gathered at the Beijing Exhibition Center to visit the large-scale exhibition showcasing the achievements of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’ s Republic of China. Members of the Party Committee of the School of Language and Communication Studies and Party members from each faculty Party branch participated in this event.

The visit site was filled with a strong sense of patriotism and love for the country. The teachers first took a group photo in front of the Beijing Exhibition Center, and then visited in groups according to their Party branches.

The exhibition was arranged in chronological order, from the founding of the People’ s Republic of China to the reform and opening up, and then to the road to rejuvenation. Teachers watched it carefully, reviewing the 70-year development process of the motherland. They would stop from time to time to express their feelings and share their experiences. When viewing the exhibition on the road to rejuvenation, Party Secretary Wang Hongying was deeply moved by the slogan from president Xi “No one should be left behind on the road to a moderately prosperous society”. She encouraged the students accompanying her to care about The Times, be good young people who will take responsibility for the future of the motherland, seek happiness for the people, rejuvenation for the nation, and great harmony for the world.

In the float model exhibition hall, the displayed floats brought back memories for the teachers who participated in the 70th anniversary National Day military parade. One teacher exclaimed, “How many nights during training were spent sweating on Chang’ an Avenue? We celebrated the birthday of our motherland with our actions!”

Visiting the large-scale exhibition of the achievements of the People’ s Republic of China over the past 70 years has evoked the shared growth memories of teachers with the new China, enhanced the confidence and pride of the nation, and further strengthened their sense of responsibility and mission. Party member teachers have all expressed that they will adhere to the original aspiration of “cultivating virtue and nurturing talent”, shoulder the mission of “serving the country through education”, cultivate people for the Party and talents for the country, and foster more socialist builders and successors who can shoulder the responsibilities of The Times.
