Tangshan Research Institute Conducts “First Lesson of the Semester” Series –Safety Education Lecture

To ensure the effectiveness of the “First Lesson of the Semester” series and strengthen safety awareness among all faculty and students, Tangshan Research Institute held a special lecture on the afternoon of April 14. The lecture combined practical life scenarios to explain anti-fraud, elevator usage, and fire safety knowledge, providing an engaging and practical safety education session for students and staff.

Teachers Sun Zhenjun and Liu Feng from the Security Department used real cases to explain knowledge on three topics: anti-fraud, elevator safety, and fire safety. Starting from everyday situations, they shared practical tips to prevent online fraud, taught students how to remain calm and self-rescue during elevator malfunctions, and provided instructions on safe use of fire, electricity, and gas in teaching buildings, laboratories, and dormitories, as well as methods for fire suppression and correct evacuation procedures. The lecture incorporated video demonstrations, case presentations, and interactive Q&A to help students internalize safety knowledge and become practitioners of safety awareness.

Tangshan Research Institute attaches great importance to cultivating students’ safety consciousness. This safety education lecture enhanced students’ ability to discern right from wrong, protect themselves, and take preventive measures, providing a solid foundation for building a safe campus and ensuring students’ healthy growth.
