The Department of Portuguese in the School of Languages and Communication Studies Successfully Holds the 8th Portuguese Poetry Recital Contest. Recently, the Department of Portuguese at the School of Languages and Communication Studies successfully organized the 8th Portuguese Poetry Recital Contest in Building 1 of the East Teaching Area. All faculty members of the Portuguese major and all students admitted in 2022 participated in the event, immersing themselves in the unique charm of Portuguese poetry through the recitation. Hosted by a foreign teacher Marcos, the contest featured sequential poetry recital performances by all students admitted in 2022. Through diverse forms of recitation, the students interpreted their unique understandings of Portuguese poetry, with the selected works covering rich and various themes such as the sea, love, and spring. Based on their outstanding performances, Márcia (Luo Miaomiao) was awarded the Third Prize, Arnaldo (Chen Yifei) the Second Prize, and Marlene (Xue Keren) the First Prize. Additionally, Arnaldo (Chen Yifei) claimed the Best Costume Award. Foreign teachers, Marcos and Ana, jointly presented certificates and prizes to the winners.
