Holds the Second Frontier Lecture for the Class of 2025

On the afternoon of September 19, 2025, Professor Su Linsen from the Department of Communication Studies delivered a thematic lecture on "Academic Planning and Time Management" to the Class of 2025 Top-Talent Program students. The session was held in Classroom 108, Building 1, East District.

The lecture covered the Philosophy, Methods, Tools, and Application of time management, along with academic planning, providing attendees with a guide for managing their time in university.



Professor Su began by using everyday scenarios to illustrate the importance of time management, quickly bridging the gap with students by sharing personal experiences.





He discussed the Philosophy behind time management, explaining its significance and guiding students to clarify their directions and finding the intersection of their meaning, joy, and strengths. This conveyed the great value of time management effectively.

Focusing on Methods, Professor Su shared principles of time management. He emphasized the need to set clear goals and prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance. He recommended techniques such as the Eisenhower Matrix and the Pomodoro Technique, as well as applications like Evernote, and invited students to categorize their own daily tasks. Students participated actively, creating a lively atmosphere.



The lecture was chaired by Professor Li Bing, Chair of the Department of Communication Studies. It provided students with valuable insights into both time management and academic planning.
