Opening Ceremony for the 77th Subsidiary Party School Session of the SLC, Law, Software Engineering, and Marxism Schools Successfully Held (2020-04-21)

To enhance the cultivation and education of aspiring Party members and ensure their commitment aligns both organizationally and ideologically, the opening ceremony for the 77th Session of the Party Lecture Training Class for Development Candidates, organized by the subsidiary Party schools of the Schools of Languages and Communication (SLC), Law, Software Engineering, and Marxism, was successfully held online via Tencent Meeting on April 16, 2020.

The ceremony was attended by Gao Yongfeng, Deputy Party Secretary of the School, Geng Meifang, Secretary of the School Youth League Committee, and all 140 trainees of this session.

The ceremony commenced solemnly with the stirring melody of The Internationale.

Wang Yiming, a student from the School and representative of the current trainees, delivered the opening speech. She called upon all trainees to consciously accept the cultivation, education, and assessment of the Party organization, proactively strengthen their Party spirit, achieve significant improvement in their political theory and ideological and ethical standards, and strive to join the Party at an early date.

The intensive study for this Party lecture session combines centralized instruction with self-directed learning. It includes 6 theoretical lectures, 1 theoretical practice session, and 1 group discussion. The training curriculum covers education on motivation for joining the Party, the Party Constitution, the Party's history and experience, the Party's purpose, procedures and requirements for Party membership, and current political affairs. Differing from previous sessions, this session is conducted entirely online to ensure uninterrupted training for the development candidates.

Following the opening ceremony, Gao Yongfeng, Deputy Party Secretary of the School, and Kang Jingdong, the School's Party Organization Officer, delivered the first and second "cloud lectures" respectively for the trainees. Despite the physical distance imposed by the screen, the students participated with great enthusiasm and actively interacted with the lecturers.
