Lecture Notice | The Third Lecture on Intercultural Health Communication

Welcome to the third lecture on the Intercultural Health Communication Series, scheduled for December 18, 2022. This series is organized by the School of Languages and Communication Studies at Beijing Jiaotong University, with Professor Li Zhenyi serving as the keynote speaker and Associate Professor Chen Jingqian as the host.

Speaker: Zhenyi Li
Chair of the Department of Communication and Culture at Royal Roads University (Canada), tenured professor, doctoral supervisor, and founder of Canada’s Intercultural Master’s program. Dr. Li specializes in intercultural health communication research. His publications cover topics including childhood vaccination, chronic disease management, and intercultural communication training for healthcare professionals.

Moderator: Chen Jingqian
She is an Associate Professor, Master’s supervisor in the Department of Communication Studies at Beijing Jiaotong University, with a Ph.D. in Journalism from Fudan University, and former visiting scholar at the University of Pennsylvania under the Chinese Government Sponsorship Program. As one of the founding members of the Health Communication Committee of the Chinese Association of Journalism History, she serves as its Executive Council member and Deputy Secretary-General. Her research focuses on health communication, intelligent communication, and urban communication.
