2022-06-10 Tangshan Research Institute of Beijing Jiaotong University Holds Finance Training Workshop. 

In order to further standardize the Institute’s financial management and operational procedures, and to continuously improve the professional competence and comprehensive quality of the staff responsible for financial work in various departments, the Finance Office organized two finance training workshops on May 20 and June 10. Approximately 20 staff members from different departments attended the sessions online. The Finance Office conducted thorough preparatory work prior to the training workshop, which involved selecting appropriate content, preparing lessons, and creating the training PPT. Teacher Wang Yiran delivered the training online, while Teacher Zhang Xueqian collected questions and provided offline answers. Zhou Hao, Director of the Finance Office, reviewed and finalized the training materials multiple times to ensure their accuracy, professionalism, and practicality. The first workshop session guided participants through an in-depth study of the Tangshan Research Institute of Beijing Jiaotong University Financial Management Measures (Trial Implementation) and the Tangshan Research Institute of Beijing Jiaotong University Interim Financial Operations Guide (Revised Edition). The second session explained common issues in daily revenue and expenditure operations, such as collections via POS machines, from external companies, and internal collections, as well as considerations for post-collection invoicing. It also focused on introducing the relevant knowledge and operational procedures for financial transactions to facilitate the daily financial work of all departments. Through online learning and offline consultation, the trainees unanimously expressed that they had gained a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of financial work, achieving improvement through both study and mutual discussion. Moving forward, the Finance Office will continue to organize financial training workshops, aiming to enrich the content and diversify the formats, in order to effectively support the Institute’s financial management services.
