Winning the Third Prize in Beijing Division of the 7th China International Colleges Students’ “Internet Plus" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition

Recently, the "Relish International Talent Pool" innovative and entrepreneurial project, co-founded by international students of our college and domestic students of the School of Language and Communication Studies, participated in the China International Colleges Students’ “Internet Plus" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition sponsored by the Ministry of Education and won the third prize in Beijing Division.

As a key platform for deepening innovation and entrepreneurship education reform in China, China International Colleges Students’“Internet Plus" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition has been successfully held for seven times so far, and has grown into the most influential college innovation and entrepreneurship event covering all colleges and universities in China.

The "Relish International Talent Pool" innovative and entrepreneurial project was first initiated by the College of International Education, led by Mr. Gao Lu of the College of International Education and attended by students from the Institute of International Education and the School of Language and Communication Studies. After official website's registration, preparation of the project plan, video shooting, as well as the layers of screening of the preliminary contest and the rematch, the students finally won the prize. The main personnel of the entrepreneurial team are: Chinese students Wang Shixin, Liao Huicheng, Zhang Hanqi and Li Jiayu from School of Language and Communication Studies; Rwandan Ph.D. student HABUMUREMYI PROVIDENCE from School of Civil Engineering;Russian master IRINA KAZAK from School of Economics and Management, and Uzbek student SARDORBEK ABDULMALIKOV from School of Electronic and Information Engineering .

The joint team of the College of International Education and the School of Language and Communication Studies was a beneficial attempt to exchange and integrate Chinese and foreign students in our university. In the future, we will establish similar cooperation with more schools to promote mutual understanding between Chinese and foreign students.
