School of Languages and Communication Studies Holds All-Staff Meeting on Xiongan Campus Policies [2025-07-04]

School of Languages and Communication Studies Briefs on Xiong'an Campus Policies [2025-07-04]

On the afternoon of July 2, 2025, the School of Languages and Communication Studies convened an all-staff meeting in Siyuan Building Room 210 to outline key pre-summer tasks and present the "Xiong'an Campus Policy Brief (II)". The session was chaired by Sun Wenbo, Secretary of the School's Party Committee.

Secretary Sun provided a detailed interpretation of policies covering household registration, staffing structure, housing assurance, transportation, children's education, social insurance, public healthcare, professional title evaluation, salary packages, and environmental quality. He emphasized the University Party Committee's strong commitment to addressing faculty needs regarding the relocation to Xiong'an Campus and called on all staff to adopt a forward-looking approach and actively participate in the development of Xiong'an New Area.

Sun Wenbo also elaborated on issues outlined in the 2025 Tangshan Study and Life Guide (I), focusing on housing, commuting, and campus card services. The meeting also reported on the School leadership's self-examination and corrective actions in line with the Central Committee's Eight-Point Directive, with updates on seven key areas—including theoretical awareness, research practices, and progress on major tasks.

The meeting enhanced faculty understanding of Xiong'an Campus developments and related policies, boosting morale and strengthening community bonds. The School will continue to organize follow-up activities such as seminars and individual consultations to deepen policy awareness and gather suggestions supporting both the Xiong'an Campus development and the University's "double world-class project" initiative.
